Escape the Maze

Escape the Maze is a game in which you've been teleported to another dimensions in which you are being chased by a hungry demon.  If he gets too close, it's all over.

Controls are standard FPS fare:

WASD or the arrow keys to move, plus the mouse to look.

This was created for the 2023 GameDev.tv game jam with the theme, Life in Two Dimensions.  I learned a lot from this process and look forward to participating in future jams to keep honing my skills.  This project is rough around the edges, but if you choose to play it, I hope you have at least a little bit of fun!

Update:

I have added a fixed WebGL build that locks the cursor to the game window/frame.  Just click on the game view to lock the cursor once you are in the main Maze level.  Use ESC to break out to either close the window or navigate elsewhere.
